From Software’s Bloodborne will be delayed one month into March of 2015. The PlayStation 4 game spin-off of Dark Souls (and Demon’s Souls) will miss its initially announced launch date of Februray and instead be released March 24 in North America, PAL regions on March 25 and in the United Kingdom and Ireland on March 27.
While not a major drop off in release date, Bloodborne had been touted as one of the tentpole titles for many core gamers, especially considering the popularity of the ultra-hard Dark Souls games. While Bloodborne remains a PS4 exclusive, fans are still holding out hope for an eventual PC release, even though odds of that are slim.
The reason for the delay is to fine tune the game and allow for further development based on community feedback from early builds. Bloodborne is the next game designed from Demon’s Souls and Dark Souls lead designer Hidetaka Miyazaki (a different From Software team developed Dark Souls 2).
